Welcome to the county training squad.
As well as running chess tuition courses in Leicestershire schools we also provide extra training
sessions for children who wish to represent the county in competition.
Children of all abilities can join the county training sessions at anytime throughout the season
and it is not compulsory to attend every session.
We have an under 9's, under 11's , under 13's and an under 14's team.
There are many competitions for both individuals and teams of all abilities throughout the season.
There are currently 2 county squad training groups in the county, with plans to establish a
third this season
You are welcome to attend either or both, whichever is geographically or logistically better
suited.
